Possessing a robust academic foundation with a Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering from Suzhou University of Science and Technology in China and a Bachelor of Science in Geology, he has served as an environmental consultant across both public and private sectors. His professional journey has been marked by a commitment to sustainable development, analytical precision, and a strong grasp of geotechnical and environmental challenges. Joseph is a Technical Engineer at Geomining consultancy and he also serves as the Manager for Environmental and Geospatial Consulting Services.

Joseph brings a practical understanding of environmental legislation, field investigation methods, and contamination risk assessments, making him a trusted partner for clients seeking both compliance and environmental stewardship. His work integrates scientific rigor with on-the-ground responsiveness, ensuring that every project is informed, effective, and aligned with environmental best practices. Joseph’s Technical Proficiency include; soft wares like QGIS, ArcGIS, SPSS, Surfer, MODFLOW, MATLAB, Microsoft Office Suite, OriginPro and Python. He is also a very diligent worker in the field and is well known for his activeness in using Field Equipments such as GPS surveying tools, groundwater monitoring of wells, direct push rigs, Air quality Monitoring tools and Noise monitoring tools. He is also very Fluent in English

His goal is to continue growing as a geologist with a strong environmental engineering perspective working at the intersection of science, sustainability, and policy. He is passionate about preserving ecological integrity while enabling development, and he strive to bring both technical excellence and ethical awareness to every projects he is involve in.  Joseph’s areas of expertise include, Environmental Site Assessments, Soil and Groundwater Contamination Studies, Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA), Geotechnical Investigations, Remediation Planning and Implementation, Environmental Monitoring and Reporting, Regulatory Compliance (national and international), GIS and Remote Sensing Applications, Stakeholder Engagement and Reporting.

At Environmental and Geospatial Consultancy services, Joseph is responsible for advising clients on sustainable land use and contamination mitigation strategies, contributing to the successful redevelopment of multiple brownfield sites. Regularly interfaced with governmental environmental bodies and supported permit applications, environmental audits, and compliance documentation and the Writing of quarterly and annual environmental Social and Health Impact Assessment Reports.

Joseph is also a member of many National and international professional institutions such as, Sierra Leone Institution of Geoscientist, International Association for Environmental Hydrology and Teach Innovative Tech. He is a Contributor to Scientific Research Publishing and a Student researcher with Carlton University in Canada.
